This project involves a four-story residential building located in Glyfada, along the Athenian Riviera, designed for private use. The program includes a workspace on the ground floor and residential apartments on the upper levels. The challenge of integrating these two distinct functions while ensuring maximum privacy for each apartment led to a design approach where nearly identical floor plans are rotated around a central staircase. This configuration results in a dynamic shift of public and private spaces between floors. Additionally, the external areas alternate with the enclosed spaces of the upper and lower levels, creating a sculptural interplay of solids and voids.
