Designing an apartment in Milan for a couple, shaped around privacy, sunlight, and a calm backdrop for an artist’s daily life. The apartment is conceived as a restrained, light-driven interior that supports everyday rhythm—quiet in expression, precise in detail. The layout unfolds as a sequence of soft transitions. A curved wall in the corridor becomes the project’s spine, easing circulation and setting the tone from the first step inside. This geometry continues in custom-designed curved furniture, creating moments of focus, storage, and display without visual clutter. Warmth and luxury define the atmosphere: wooden wardrobes are integrated as continuous planes, and a unified wood floor anchors the home with tactile depth. To balance openness with discretion, louvers on the walls filter views and light—offering privacy while keeping the apartment bright throughout the day. Above, a mirrored ceiling amplifies daylight and extends the perceived height, adding depth without visual noise. The result is an interior that feels calm and lived-in: designed to hold light, protect intimacy, and let the work and the people remain central.
